My head is pounding and it hurts from the expansion of awareness that is pulsating through me. I feel myself expanding in new ways that I definitely do not understand.
How do I understand them? I meditate, I do ritual, I ask for guidance, I surrender to my craft. Then I think maybe this is all a lie. Maybe I have just been dreaming, isn’t this reality just our mind’s depiction of physical forms of energy that is compacted in a dense manner? Oh why oh why does a brain wander so. The stars and the cosmos let us imagine a life outside of our Self where nature allows us to witness the life within. When we look at nature She has grown and been destroyed many times over both of her own undoing and at the hands of humans. She is relentless and unforgiving but caring and nurturing in all of the right ways. Why oh why has this darkness come in. A seed must be planted in the dirt, in the darkness before it can sprout. This is how growth happens; at the beginning for humans and throughout our life as well. When it is time for us to grow in a Spiritual or "logical" way we must be willing to become the seed. We must wait for the water to fall over our body and nourish us so much that we begin to feel trapped and uncomfortable in this casing. We must be willing to push through the discomfort and for our roots to expand deep into the spongy earth. We must be willing to wait in patience and in kindness as our energy is pulled into the Earth and then into the Ethers. We must be willing to stand tall in this rebirthing and to remember that all things come from darkness. All births come from the darkest places and uncomfortable space. This is the unbecoming and the becoming. This is the truth & being lost is the destination. It is the beginning and the end. It is where the Soul lies in creation and expands into the universe in ways unseen to the common eye. We must trust that our body and our soul carry the power to guide us home time and time again. We are infinite and therefore; we are darkness. - The End. This has been a journey and it is always within these times spent in deep comtemplation that I am met with what some would call a Spiritual Awakening, I am not such a fan of that title. I believe that when we withdraw and we head inwards to ourself that we are able to access deep inherent knowledge and wisdom that goes beyond logic, time and space combined. When we withdraw into our self we welcome back our trust and our play. We start to engage with our self in a new way and a unique way that is only our own. With each descent into the underworld we are able to climb up with the ability to walk with more authority over our lives than ever before. Death. Rebirth. A cycle I love to witness. A reclaimation of who I am that is forever changing. Sat Nam and I hope you enjoyed reading about this experience. May you wander into your darkness holding your own hand. |
